Vol. 7, Issue 2 (Fall 2003)
The
XVth International Personal Construct Psychology Congress
saw the unveiling of an online encyclopedia devoted entirely to PCP
definitions and constructs.
On the last evening of the congress, Joern Scheer gave a presentation and demonstration of the encyclopedia which, upon completion, will contain some 275 entries. Both Joern Scheer and Beverly Walker serve as coordinating editors on the venture, which is backed by an editorial board including: Richard Bell, Trevor Butt, Pam DeNicolo, Devi Jankowicz, Devorah Kalekin-Fishman, Robert Neimeyer, David Winter, and Bill Warren. The Internet Encyclopedia of PCP, as it is formally called, is currently in staging, with only a portion of the full 275 entries completed. As such, a password is required to view the “under construction” project. The encyclopedia includes entries under three main categories: [1] Theory (including relations to other theories, [2] Methods (such as repertory grid), and [3] Applications (e.g., clinical applications). |
