NAPCN Forms Joint Interest Group with APA Div.
32
By Robert Hadden Mole
Vol. 5, Issue 1 (Spring 2001)
The NAPCN in conjunction with Division
32 (Humanistic Psychology) of the American Psychological Association (APA),
has established a new interest section in Division 32: the
Constructivist Psychology Section (CPS). Approval for interest group
status by the APA was made official late this winter after a proposal
was forwarded to the APA by NAPCN president Jon Raskin.
The Constructivist Psychology Section
is designed to be a way for Division 32 members to gain exposure to the
NAPCN and Constructivism at large. The CPS is also designed to give
NAPCN members an officially recognized presence in the APA—as well as a
voice within the largest organization of psychologists in the world.
